As President and founder of Tailor Made Property Services, Inc., AMO® Marlene brings over thirty years of property management experience to the table. She has experience in managing diverse portfolios. Marlene is highly motivated; her unrelenting drive is a key factor in her ability to bring a high quality of services to an elite group of clients. Marlene is a nationally recognized instructor for the Institute of Real Estate Management as well as the National Association of Housing Cooperatives. She is a two time chapter past president for IREM. Currently Marlene serves on the board for MAHC and formerly served on the NAHC board. She is a licensed continuing education trainer in the state of Illinois . Marlene has also held multiple committee positions on a National level for the Institute of Real Estate Management. Marlene holds Broker licenses in the states of Michigan, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.
As Vice President of Tailor Made Property Services, Inc., AMO® Melanie brings her imagination, people skills and creativity to even the most challenging assignments. By analyzing specific market and property conditions she is able to develop, implement and monitor successful marketing and training programs that produce results. She has a twenty plus year background in marketing and financial analysis. This experience combines well with her hands on property management style. Her ability to build solid relationships with clients, co workers and business associates based on honesty, integrity and reliability can be credited for much of her success. Melanie heads the operations at Tailor Made headquarters as well as the business development department. Melanie is a former President of the IREM Chicago Chapter 23. In addition, she served IREM on a National level on several committees. Melanie is a trainer for MAHC and has facilitated the IREM Ethics training on numerous occasions. Melanie is the Designated Managing Broker for Tailor Made Operations in the state of Illinois and also holds a Brokers license in the state of Indiana.
As financial supervisor of Tailor Made Property Services, Inc. AMO® Shelley brings 30 years of experience in the accounting field. Shelley is able to work with a variety of properties and is able to meet the needs of each property on an individual basis. Shelley is also able to work with a many different accounting programs and able to quickly learn new ones. She is able to do “complete accounting”, everything from writing the vendor checks and payroll checks and the reporting involved with payroll from state to state to preparing the monthly financial reports and working closely with the auditors at year end.
With experience in conventional, new construction, section 42, section 8, cooperative and condominium properties, Nancy brings her diverse experience as a hands on manager along with her high energy level to her position as Director of Administrative Support. Whether it is providing coordination between the site staff and service providers, performing on site compliance or vendor audits, acting as intermediary with governmental agencies or digging in and helping wherever needed when properties are short handed, Nancy is always prepared to provide the additional support that our properties from time to time require.
Experienced Regional Property Manager who is adept in all aspects of property maintenance. Highly motivated with diverse job skills including upper management procedures, as well as maintaining and improving property. Has strong leadership qualities and is capable of working independently or within a group. Possesses great organizational skills along with computer proficiency.
As Special Projects Director, Angela is instrumental in the development of custom advertising and awareness campaigns, coordinates the development and implementation of online training courses for staff members, and develops individually contoured documents for inspections, trainings, record keeping and audits.
Angela is also the Property Manager at Winfield Village, a 348 unit Cooperative in Savoy Illinois, and has been with the property for 18 years. In addition to being a Certified Property Manager (CPM), Angela is an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Cooperative Manager (CCM), Registered Cooperative Manager (RCM), and holds a Real Estate Brokers license in Illinois. Angela has been involved with MAHC and has taught at the conference for several years.
Experienced Regional Property Manager who is adept in all aspects of property management. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in administration. He has experience with HUD, MSHDA, section 8, PRAC, conventional, resort, and cooperatives. Mike is the EIV coordinator for Tailor Made. He is a retired police officer and brings unique skills and problem solving abilities to “problem” neighborhoods or properties. Having previously taught computer hardware and software classes he is adept at computer and small network support.
Experience in managing a wide variety of properties, Connie has been serving as the Regional Manager for the TMPS Missouri properties. While lending assistance to the properties with day to day operations when needed, Connie’s focus is on improving and enhancing operations for the benefit of our clients and residents.
She works with the property leadership and staff to develop long and short-range plans to meet specific goals while keeping costs within budgetary guidelines.
Connie’s versatility allows her to work well as a liaison for the properties when dealing with vendors, contractors, lenders, insurance providers along with state and local governmental agencies.
As Regional Manager, Betsy brings over 30 years of business and leadership experience with 10 years in property management at Linville Management. A licensed realtor, Betsy oversees all aspects of property management including contract compliance, insurance, as well as vendor negotiation and selection. Betsy is responsible for property expenses, board management, reporting, and team leadership at each of her properties.
Betsy is accomplished with a diverse skill set including communication at all levels of business functions, standardizing operations, maintaining and improving properties. Well-organized and efficient in managing day-to-day, she brings the strength of experience combined with quality and dedication to every aspect of her work.
As Area Supervisor, Christy brings a 20 year background in Banking (Financial Planning, Mortgage and Installment Lending) as well as strong Customer Service Skills.
Christy is the Property Manager for DARE in Chicago, a property for disabled adults able to live independently. She also manages Dorchester Homes Cooperative a 14 unit vintage building and Ellis Cooperative, a 33 unit building, all located in Hyde Park. She carries certification as an Accredited Residential Manager, Certified Occupancy Specialist and Certified Cooperative Manager.
Jessica Payne is the Assistant Director of Compliance who has worked with Tailor Made Property Services, Inc., AMO® for six years. She works closely with the Vice President and Director of Compliance to assure that the company is performing to its greatest potential. Jessica has attained a bachelor’s degree in business management as well as a certification in Cooperative Management. She worked as an assistant property manager at one of the properties managed by Tailor Made and has brought her innovative ideas and energy to help the company continue to excel. She is hands on with software and administrative support to properties and their staff members. Jessica’s commitment and dedication to helping others adds a valuable contribution to the company. She believes in getting the job done and making sure its done right no matter what!
